At homework time...your child wants to succeed

The most important thing to understand is that the homework should suit the child, not the other way around. If your child does not understand or cannot do his homework on a regular basis, ADJUSTMENTS NEED TO BE MADE AT SCHOOL. The homework is not appropriate. Many parents go through homework torture, believing that their child will fall behind if they don't hand in the homework, all done correctly. This is not true. Your child is where he is, and he should be helped to move on from that point by his teachers at school. Any homework he is given should be at his level so that he can without stress on anyone's part.
